Part of our purpose as a church, is to serve God by serving others.
Being part of the congregation and grown in your faith, the Lord wants you to use your spiritual gifts in a ministry where you can serve the Lord and the people around you.
We believe God shaped everyone for Serving Him.

As part of the five purposes of our church we believe very strongly to reach out to our local community and beyond.
God created us for a Mission.
Jesus send us, in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), to reach the ends of the earth.
We are called to reach out to our community and beyond, to the whole world.
St Andrew’s are involved in several endeavours to reach the world for Jesus Christ. Here are some of it:
A Simple Gift. A Simple Message.

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God?s love. Here are some ways you can make a difference in the lives of those children:

PRAY. Please pray that God will touch the heart of every child who receives a shoe box gift and that He will bring many children and families to faith in Christ.

PACK A GIFT. A shoe box filled with small toys and other gifts can open hurting hearts to God?s love. Instructional brochures will be available at your church. The information can also be found at http://www.samaritanspurse.org or by calling1-800-353-5949.

GIVE. Please remember to give $7 or more per box to cover shipping and other project costs.

VOLUNTEER. Make a difference in the lives of children by volunteering with Operation Christmas Child! You can serve year-round on teams, promoting the project through the local church and community. Or beginning in November, serve short-term at a local drop-off site or at one of six Processing Centers around the country. Check our Website or call the national number for more information.

OUR INVOLVEMENT: Our congregation is involved in this project since 1995. The last two years the congregation packed about 300 shoe boxes.

We partner with other churches in the community to provide a meal free of charge for those in need of a meal per day.
Our congregation serves a meal every last Friday of the month at 11:30 am till 1 pm at our church.                                              (The only exception is in August 2010 when it will be August 20)
