This logo is unique to St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Trenton. It is symbolising who we are.
An explanation can be found in the following picture:
- We see the cross of Jesus as the symbol representing our church.
- The blue sky reminds us of heaven which is always present and near.
- The hill represents the location where our church building is. Many refer to it as "The Church on the Hill."
- The five streams flowing down the hill into the river are the five purposes of the church (as in Matthew 22 and 28) serving the world around us.
- The waves represents the Trent river (about 200 metres from the church) and in it self represent the community to which we belong.
- We want to be a beacon to the community and want to serve them out of love for Jesus Chris, our Lord and Saviour.
